Ian has been leading Silclear for over a decade. He joined Silclear as the Managing Director in March 2014 and is an experienced commercial and operational manager with 30 years’ experience.

Prior to joining Silclear, Ian’s career was in the concrete industry where he worked on various projects including the supply of special products used at airports and the construction of major road works, tunnels, and marinas.

Ian’s open and friendly personality, ‘hands on’ approach and problem-solving skills ensure that the  Silclear team are committed to ensuring efficiency, adaptability and customer satisfaction.

Terry joined Silclear in September 2020 and serves as Operations Director, overseeing the day-to-day running of the business and helping to ensure that every aspect of the company operates efficiently and effectively.

Working across manufacturing, production planning, customer service, sales support, and business operations, Terry plays a key role in coordinating the teams and processes that enable Silclear to deliver high-quality silicone products to customers across a wide range of industries. His broad understanding of the business, combined with a practical and solutions-focused approach, helps ensure that projects run smoothly from enquiry through to delivery.

Passionate about continuous improvement, Terry is always looking for ways to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, improve sustainability, and deliver better outcomes for both customers and the wider business. His leadership and commitment to operational excellence make him an integral part of the Silclear team.

As Financial Controller, Michael plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of Silclear, helping to ensure the financial health and stability of the business.

Responsible for overseeing the company’s finances, Michael manages everything from financial reporting and budgeting to monitoring cash flow and supporting strategic decision-making. Working closely with colleagues across the business, he helps ensure that Silclear continues to operate efficiently while supporting future investment and growth.

Known throughout the company for his attention to detail, wealth of knowledge, and approachable nature, Michael is a trusted source of advice and support for both management and employees alike. While much of his work takes place behind the scenes, his contribution is essential to keeping the business running smoothly.

Carl joined Silclear in 2025 as Marketing Manager, bringing with him over a decade of marketing experience across a diverse range of sectors, including trade shows, waste management, property investment, financial markets, not-for-profit organisations, and local business improvement initiatives.

As the first point of contact for all marketing enquiries, Carl is responsible for helping to communicate Silclear’s expertise, products, and capabilities to customers across a wide range of industries. His role encompasses website management, search engine optimisation (SEO), content creation, social media, exhibitions, advertising, and supporting the company’s wider business development activities.

Passionate about clear communication and customer engagement, Carl works closely with colleagues across the business to showcase the knowledge, innovation, and manufacturing expertise that have helped establish Silclear as a trusted silicone manufacturer for almost four decades.

Heidi joined the Silclear team in 2025 as Customer Service & Sales Coordinator and is often the first point of contact for customer enquiries.

Before joining Silclear, Heidi built her career in both the aviation and care sectors, working as cabin crew and in care-based roles. These experiences helped develop the calm, professional, and people-focused approach she brings to customer service today, along with the ability to communicate effectively, solve problems quickly, and ensure people feel supported and valued.

At Silclear, Heidi works closely with customers to assist with enquiries, quotations, and orders, helping to ensure a smooth and positive experience from initial contact through to delivery. Known for her friendly personality, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction, she plays an important role in maintaining the high levels of service our customers have come to expect.
