Company History
The company is based in New Milton, Hampshire on the south coast of England, and was established in 1987 following the collaboration between a chemist and an expert from the dairy industry who both recognised the opportunity to market silicone tubing and moulded products to the farming community. The products that Silclear made were soon favoured by dairy manufacturers worldwide.
Continued growth of the business through the early and mid-1990s resulted in the company relocating to its present site in 2001 to accommodate additional processing equipment, and to bring all manufacturing, warehousing, and administration under one roof.
In 2013 Silclear was acquired by Tudorhead Holdings, bringing two new directors to the business. Silclear thrived under their management, which resulted in Silclear being purchased by Skellerup Holdings in 2019. Skellerup are a global designer, manufacturer and distributor of polymer products and vacuum systems. Skellerup’s headquarters are in New Zealand and the company is recognised for providing innovative and engineered solutions for customers in dairy rubberware, water and related infrastructure, roofing, plumbing, automotive, health, mining and a range of other industrial applications.
Silclear and its products have continued to go from strength to strength and now, as part of the Skellerup group of companies we aim to supply even more innovative silicone solutions to customers and partners around the world.
