We’re delighted to share that Silclear has won the New Forest Brilliance in Business Award for Innovation 2025, announced during this year’s ceremony at Brockenhurst College on Thursday 4 December.
Hosted by the New Forest Business Partnership, the Brilliance in Business Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of companies across the region. With 19 award categories recognising everything from customer care to sustainability, the event brings together organisations from throughout the local business community.
Recognising innovation that tackles real industry challenges
Silclear received the Innovation Award, sponsored by Cloud Eleven Accountants, for our work on Re-Sil; our pioneering food-grade recycled silicone.
Re-Sil began as an internal challenge: how could we prevent our own silicone scrap from ending up in landfill? That question sparked years of research and development, ultimately leading us to create a viable recycled silicone material that performs to the same high standards as virgin silicone.
Today, Re-Sil not only reduces waste within our own operations but also offers a blueprint for a more sustainable, closed-loop silicone industry. It addresses one of the sector’s biggest environmental challenges and demonstrates what’s possible when innovation and responsibility go hand in hand.
A proud moment for the Silclear team
Managing Director Ian Bradbury shared his thoughts following the announcement:
