On Remembrance Sunday, November 11, 2023, Silclear’s own Charlie Smith participated in the Lymington charity-sponsored walk, covering a distance of over 22km and visiting 8 memorial locations along the route.

The Lymington Remembrance, also known as the Poppy Walk, was initiated in 2020 in response to the restricted Remembrance Day events due to Covid-19. Since its inception, the Lymington Remembrance has grown significantly in size and increased donations. To date, the sponsored walks have raised just shy of £10,000 over three years.

This year’s designated charity is Scotty’s Little Soldiers—a charity committed to supporting bereaved military children and young people.

Charlie personally raised over £300 for the cause, contributing to the walk’s total that has now surpassed £600 from both in-person and online donations.
